What is a sinus lift?

The maxillary sinuses are empty air filled spaces near some of your upper molars. After upper teeth have been removed the patient might not have adequate bone left for a dental implant. There are several ways to perform a sinus lift if needed which can be discussed with your Doctor during the consultation. These procedures add bone to the area necessary for the dental implant to become successful.
